The purpose of this conference is to bring together leading experts and researchers and to assess new development in this very active and important field.  The conference will continue tradition of previous fixed point theory meetings which were held in Burapha (France, 1989), Halifax (Canada, 1991) , Seville (Spain, 1995), Kazimerz Dolny (Poland, 1997), Haifa (Israel, 2001), Valencia (Spain, 2003), Guanajuato (Mexico, 2005), Chiang Mai (Thailand, 2007).
